Thanks a Lot, DVR

I came home from work today and still need to get my workout in, so I headed upstairs to get a quick strength training workout in before The Biggest Loser premiere started. I had my DVR all set up and planned to watching the show at 7:30, so I could just zip through the commercials. The perfect plan! What could go wrong?

My quick circuit training routine:
Warm up

Superset #1
3 x 12 bicep curls
3 x 12 tricep kickbacks
30 jumping jacks

Superset #2
3 x 12 chest presses
3 x 12 bent over rows
30 jumping jacks

Superset #3
3 x 12 military press
3 x 12 deadlifts
30 jumping jacks

Superset #4
3 x 12 lunges
3 x 20 crunches
30 jumping jacks

Stretch

It is so cold here this week! It is negative 2 degrees right now. I couldn't feel my toes during half my workout. Adding a cardio burst of jumping jacks between the supersets helped keep my blood circulating to keep feeling in my toes. Brrr!

I rinsed off and settled into bed with my favorite snack: vanilla yogurt, strawberries and frozen blueberries. I like to let the blueberries thaw in the yogurt and then cut fresh strawberries over the top. Delish!


Finally ready to watch my show, I went to start the program and....wait! Where is it? My fickle DVR didn't start recording! Gah! Stupid thing.

I wonder how long it will take for NBC to post the full episode online...
